• Specific Durometer (Hardness): Specify the required Shore A value and tolerance on the drawing. The listed 40-90 Shore A range is subject to compound and geometry selection. Agree the measurement method and inspection scope with the sample approval.

• Color: Provide a Pantone or RAL code, or an approved physical reference if needed. Confirm the molded sample color for the selected compound because pigments, surface finish and viewing conditions affect the match.

• Part marking: Specify any logo, part number or revision marking and its position on the drawing. Confirm the marking method and legibility for the selected rubber and part size.

• Special requirements: State any flame, electrical or weathering performance and the applicable test method. Confirm a suitable compound and agreed testing before specifying that requirement.

• Packaging: State protection, labeling and packing-quantity requirements in the RFQ. Confirm the available format in the quotation.

Q2: Can you help us select the best material (ODM service)?
A: Provide the operating medium and additives, temperature, pressure, movement and any approval requirements. Candidate compound families can then be reviewed against those conditions; the exact compound must be confirmed for the application.

Q3: Is there a cost difference between black and custom-colored rubber?
A: Provide a color code or approved reference. Pigment, compound and cleaning requirements can affect quotation and setup; confirm the molded sample against the agreed reference.

Q4: Do you offer rapid prototyping before we invest in mass production molds?
A: Prototype method is confirmed after the geometry and material requirements are reviewed. A fit-check model does not establish the sealing performance of a production-molded rubber sample.

Q5: What is your standard lead time?
A: Confirm tooling, sample approval and production timing in the quotation. Geometry, compound availability, quantity and inspection requirements affect the schedule.
